Choyce Distribution started in 1988 with the sale of one fish to a restaurant in Chinatown. Formerly known as Choyce Products, Choyce specialized in bringing fine meat and seafood to restaurants and retailers in Hawaii and grew as it gained a reputation for quality products, efficient delivery, and friendly yet professional service.
In 2014, Choyce Products was purchased by Michael Sen and Craig "Skippy" Nagano, a longtime friend of Edmund Choy (the founder) and former owner of another institution in Hawaii's food distribution industry--Innovative Foods. Thus a new company, Choyce Distribution, Inc. was created with an expanded product line to better serve its customers.
